6. EU right of withdrawal and return conditions

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from your online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, receives the goods. Exceptions are explained in the next section.

To exercise this right, notify us at support@stripedcatstore.com with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. Include your order number or other information identifying the purchase. You may use the model withdrawal form, but you are not required to do so. Our approval is not required to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal.

After notifying us, you must send the goods back within 14 days. Contact us for the correct return address; the dispatch address may not be the return address.

You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. You are responsible only for any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for that inspection, where permitted by applicable law.

Please return the goods with their supplied accessories and, where reasonably possible, their original packaging. Missing original packaging or tags does not automatically remove your statutory right of withdrawal.

These withdrawal conditions do not limit your statutory rights concerning faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise non-conforming goods.

1. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The EU 14-day right of withdrawal may not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, or to sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once their seal has been broken after delivery.

Items are not excluded solely because they are discounted, or because they belong to a category such as baby products, underwear, swimwear or beauty products. Any applicable exception must meet the legal requirements.

These exceptions do not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to your order.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds 
 We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. When approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
